You should be happy. You are undefeated and a game above last seasons total. What else can you ask of your team, coach, QB, owner? You should be happy and should be looking forward to next week's game.

Anyway, this is a Chiefs thread, so just go away. I am officially a fan of the Chiefs. It is difficult to say this, but if they played the 49ers right now, I would actually be conflicted. |

Matt Cassel sucks. Im just honestly happy, that after nearly a decade, no one will rightfully be able to call Alex Smith a bust.

I love Kaep's game. LOVE IT. I also appreciate having Smith as our QB. Why can't folks like both?

They literally fumbled snap because the Center thought the QB was under center when he was in Shotgun. It was that bad. Needless to say the Eagles have some issues. So while I'm not going to be one of those guys that's says "look at the stats" a wins a win. Especially on a short week But let's be objective here, the EAGLES kept the Chiefs in the game. It wasn't any kind of heroic play from the QB position. They lead wire to wire I believe.

as I stated before 2010 was the Weis year that he was attempting to "fix" Cassel, and put him in a position to quasi succeed. Due to Weis working his magic Charlie had Cassel protecting the ball with a league best TD/INT ratio that made him a pro bowl alternate. Hence, the comparison of making easy high percentage passes that won't hurt or truly help the team. Cassel had a tendency to run like a chicken with its head cut off, when he was under pressure( though he was slower, and only looked at two reads 80 % of the time and held the ball too long if it wasn't a picture perfect throwing play.

Alex Smith, and Kaepernick were in very similar situations. both playing on the road, both received phenomenal efforts by their defenses. One guy imploded, turning the ball over 4 times. The other, despite not having his security blanket tight end, or running game, or an offensive line that was competent until the 4th quarter, still found a way to win a game, while completing clutch 3rd downs 3 times on the game deciding drive. Dispute it. You cant. You are sitting here ripping a guy, while YOUR preferred qb failed in similar circumstances. Every time you diss Alex Smith, im going to remind you of that. And don't get me started on how he failed in the super bowl to be the first 49ers qb to lose. That burns me worse than anything.

Gotta admit it's kind of cool having 2 teams. The reason I follow them is because I feel the same way you do, about what happened to Alex. Add to that I wanted the 9ers to pick up Avery when he left the Rams. Now I get to see them work together. I hope AJ can step up his game because I would love for him to succeed too. |

Kaep played like ass. No excuses from me. Unlike you, making alicecuses for his shit 3 int game against the giants. You blame his shit performance on EVERYONE ELSE? That is why you Alice smith fans deserve no respect. IT'S NEVER ALEX SMITHS FAULT WHEN HE PLAYS LIKE SHIT. Go choke on Alice smiths cock and die. |
