For anyone who didn't notice Punk had Misawa written on his wrist tape in huge green letters.

They're definitely booking Punk stronger this time around. That match didn't do much for me early, but the last few minutes were really entertaining. He's gone from not being able to cleanly beat JBL to beating Edge and Jeff on one leg.
I'm still not sold on the heel turn. If they are doing it with him, they're doing it slowly, which isn't something the WWE's done for years. And he wasn't booked like a heel tonight, at least not the way I saw it. He's been talking half like a heel, half like a face, and in the matches he's been the babyface in peril pulling out the win (although he couldn't possibly get that reaction in NC with Jeff in the match, he's getting booed if he wins regardless), so who knows. Not a bad show tonight. I loved the hell out of the Jericho/Misterio match that opened the show. What I'm really having a hard time with right now is JR as a color guy. He's almost playing it like heel announcer, and it just seems weird. |

Raw's never going to be interesting as long as they keep cycling the same worn-out acts through the title scene.
Although I did like the way Orton won the title earlier in the show. Just so he can lose it to Hun-Tor in 2 weeks. |
