Sunday, 4:05 PM @ Detroit .

KU enters the Elite Eight vs Davidson, this years version of Cinderella. Davidson has played a tough non confrence schedule to be prepared for the tourney. On line is a trip to the Final Four for the winner. Davidson currently hold the nations longest winning streak in the NCAA and has one of the sharpest shooters in Stephen Curry. Here's to stopping Davidson's streak and KU moving on to the next round.

Wow. Sure, the Jayhawks missed too many bunnies as they did in the UCLA game last year, but that was a very badly called game. I'm truly happy that Self has finally broken through to the Final Four, though.

Agree 100%....The refs (and media?) did whatever they could to hand Curry and company a ticket to the final four. That said....we did not play a great game...but better to get that out of the way now (and still win)...and get ready for Roy (and some payback).

This Davidson game was one of the most uncomfortable experiences ever....It sucks to have to exhale and feel "relieved" to get to the final four....instead of being jubilant.

Regardless of the road traveled....congrats to the hawks...and congrats to Self for getting a huge gorilla off his back.

(I think my reaction to the last shot was about the same as self's....relief)

No doubt the Hawks played some pretty sloppy ball tonight, but I think the reffing was worse.

usually the announcers steer away from the officials, but many times during this game the announcers mentioned this problem. "That should have been a foul on bar" "that wasn't a charge" you know

Hawks played good defense tonight. Holding Curry to 10 points in the 2nd half was huge. That guy is a phenominal shooter.

You realize Davidson never got into the 1 and 1 in the second half? They called 6 fouls on KU in the entire half. I think it's fair to say the refs swallowed their whistles on both ends. Just take the win and be happy.
