Geno Smith fans roll call
NEW THREAD HEADER (11/17/12):
The list is gone. We will all be Geno Smith fans when he gets drafted by the Chiefs. For historical documentation's sake, I'll keep the list in a separate post on this thread: http://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showp...postcount=3314 WHY GENO SMITH? If you're wondering if Geno Smith is right for you, check out this brilliant post by Saccopoo: http://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showp...postcount=5388 Next, we have a few GIFs you may be interested in from the Oklahoma game. Insane potential. These are the elite throws that very few QBs can make. What more can I say? Geno Smith can be a franchise QB in the NFL, and the Chiefs need to take a shot on him. GIF #1:

GIF #3 (My favorite):

HOW DO WE GET HIM HERE? Glad you asked. I posted this checklist earlier. It probably belongs in the thread header, and will be updated as the Chiefs close out their season and start a new chapter in their franchise story. Preparing for Geno Smith's Arrival In KC Checklist 1. [X] Lose games and acquire the #1 overall pick 2. [X] Get Pioli and the Patriot Way cronies the **** out 3. [X] Hire new GM/coach OPTIONAL (but highly recommended): 4. [ ] Re-sign/tag Bowe, who really wants to play in KC with Geno 5. [ ] Re-sign/tag Albert Last edited by RealSNR; 01-04-2013 at 12:32 PM.. |

For those of you concerned about the faiders snagging geno/wilson I wouldn't worry about it. I can't see them going QB with their first pick with palmer there. I mean palmer isn't the greatest obviously but they have much bigger needs on defense. They'll probably target a QB with their 2nd pick. Maybe like Glennon, Bray or Murray. Then again 1 or 2 of those guys could go end up going in the first round. Too early to call it.

That's what's hilarious. The guy claims he wants to draft Geno Smith, but makes every excuse to shit on him for stuff he has no ****ing clue clue what he's talking about. Right here he's already making shit up before it even happens.

I thought when I saw RG3 play in college that he'd run smart and get down. I am now questioning just how long his career will be in the pros. Love his talent. But think he's going to have an injury plagued career. |

Btw-Jarvis Jones is every bit worth a top 5 pick. I guess getting 26 sacks in his last 2 years and owning the best OL in college fooball last week doesn't mean anything. |

Once the medical evals were done on Marcus McNeil, he fell all the way to round 2. |

I see a Daquan Bowers type fall coming for Jones, unfortunately. It's a shame but NFL teams are not going to pay a guy 20 million in guarantees with medical issues like that. And it doesn't help that this class is just loaded with pass rushing talent. |

I usually criticize him during the games. You know... when I SEE something happen and then make a comment. I don't make shit up like you do. So what do you say to the fact that Butt**** McGee from Alabama was able to run at 10 yards a pop DIRECTLY AT Jarvis Jones? The potential is there, sure, much in the same way the potential was there for Jason Pierre-Paul. The only difference is that JPP wasn't selected with a top 5 pick. Teams in that position in the draft selected guys with higher floors instead. It's insane that you think Jarvis Jones is such a goddamn surefire stud at his position, yet Geno Smith needs all kinds of work, and is as raw as they come. |

This place can be bizarro world when it comes to prospects. Bray's a mongoloid, Jarvis Jones isn't any good?
Just cause you don't want a guy with the #1 overall pick doesn't mean he's not a great player.... |
