I think Abdullah is going to surprise people this year. He'll be a significant upgrade over Lewis, not just a dude.

Being a JAG is an improvement over Lewis.

I meant we're actually going to call him a good player.

Herbie Teope‏@HerbieTeope·6 mins
Chiefs LB Ben Johnson has a “slight hamstring,” DeMarcus Van Dyke now dealing with a hamstring, like his cousin David.

Herbie Teope‏@HerbieTeope·6 mins
Chiefs CB Sean Smith wasn’t at OTAs today for “personal reasons,” coach Andy Reid said. It is a voluntary workout.

Terez A. Paylor‏@TerezPaylor·6 mins
Today's #Chiefs practice is over. Thoughts and notes coming...

Terez A. Paylor‏@TerezPaylor·5 mins
CB Sean Smith missed today's practice for personal reasons. #Chiefs

Herbie Teope‏@HerbieTeope·5 mins
With Sean Smith not present, CB Ron Parker took his place with the first-team defense during 11-on-11.

Terez A. Paylor‏@TerezPaylor·4 mins
The #Chiefs worked on a lot of their deep stuff today. It was a fun practice to watch.

Terez A. Paylor‏@TerezPaylor·4 mins
Smith and Bray looked the best airing it out, though Smith was off target on a few occasions.

Terez A. Paylor‏@TerezPaylor·3 mins
Bray has a great arm but is experiencing the typical ups and downs young QBs always go through.

Terez A. Paylor‏@TerezPaylor·3 mins
Bray threw a terrible pick over the middle while trying to hit Dressler, who was double covered. But a few plays later...

Terez A. Paylor‏@TerezPaylor·2 mins
...he came back and lifted a gorgeous TD to Frankie Hammond, who beat Phillip Gaines on a go route.

Herbie Teope‏@HerbieTeope·3 mins
QB Alex Smith was sharp again today with deep passes during 11-on-11. He threw a very nice pass to Donnie Avery, but Avery dropped it.

Herbie Teope‏@HerbieTeope·3 mins
WR Donnie Avery got behind FS Sanders Commings on the play. Commings didn’t get a hand on the ball, just a straight drop by Avery.

Terez A. Paylor‏@TerezPaylor·2 mins
Alex made a great throw today when he hit Hemingway over the middle with a perfectly-placed ball on a seam route. Lofted it over Rutland.

TE Anthony Fasano is quietly putting together a good camp. He looks healthy and is catching everything. Had a fingertip catch today

Terez A. Paylor‏@TerezPaylor·14 secs
Dee Ford's youthful exuberance is fun to watch. He started dancing a bit on the field when "Turn Down For What" started blasting.

Chiefs QB Tyler Bray had two of the prettiest passes today during 11-on-11.

Herbie Teope‏@HerbieTeope·1 min
First one, Tyler Bray hit WR Frankie Hammond deep for what would’ve been a TD. Third-round pick Phillip Gaines was in coverage.

Herbie Teope‏@HerbieTeope·1 min
Second one, Tyler Bray found TE Demetrius Harris down field with a nicely placed pass over LB Dezman Moses. Would’ve been a 20-yard gain.

Terez A. Paylor‏@TerezPaylor·1 min
Moments later Ford got a "Welcome to the NFL" moment when Jamaal Charles drew "Ohhs" from his teammates by juking him out of his shoes.

If Fasano could just play touch football he would be awesome. It's the whole 'contact' part of football that causes him problems.

Last thing: Bray showed off his arm strength on a great throw over the middle to Daryl Surgent, who was running a slant but dropped the ball

#Chiefs Notes from today. Knile Davis & Joe McKnight provide serious speed to the return game. They are decisive. Make a cut & accelerate.

In 7 on 7. Bray threw a pass into the window perfectly down the seam. Wilson dropped the pass. #Chiefs

Aaron Murray had one of his best throws of OTAs/rookie camp. He threw a backshoulder to Wilson who dropped it. #Chiefs
