That was just like watching the UNLV game at Sprint Center in December '10. They just out smarted our coach. I can think of at least 5 back door slams and one missed bunny layup that they pulled on Frank's D.

If Will keeps playing like this and Gibson no-shows, our offense is bottom of the league caliber. I don't care how well you play on defense or rebound the ball, you have to be able to get decent shots and make them from time to time. At this point, there's only one guy on the team I'm confident can make a shot.

I'm assuming you mean Rodney. But I don't feel particularly good about anyone on this team on the offensive end right now. And I'm wondering if it's going to get any better before the end of the season. I can't think it'll be this bad all year, but I just don't know.

Just think, if we had finished off BU, won today and beaten a team in Norman that we should be better than, we'd be tied for first at 7-1. Instead, we're sitting at 4-4 with @ ISU, @ Baylor, @ MU & a handful of other tough games at home remaining. Doesn't exactly make me optomistic about the rest of the season. Keep watching and hope for the best, I guess...

Until we get some legit shooting guards on this team, and I mean pure shooters, we are going to have to hope to get a big night from someone different all the time. That's just not easy to do.

Will and Tay are fine role players, but neither is a consistent enough shooter, or scorer to be a difference maker. Angel is more of a point who likes to penetrate, and isn't a great shooter. Rod is a wing and not a legit guard. He is a great scorer of the ball, but not a pure shooter. Southwell is a Point Forward. He doesn't shoot well, and his game is better suited to drive and dish. We aren't recruiting any shooters for 2012 - only bigs. So, it will be more of the same for the balance of this year, and thru 2013, until we make some serious recruiting changes in the system. Shooters, Frank, shooters!
