What does it matter what something like a particular arm of an educational institution is "worth"? Are they going to start paying taxes? Will they take out a mortgage on the athletic department to build a modern football stadium? Is Anschutz going to buy them up and take them private? What does it even mean, besides some sort of subject for an article to be written about in the offseason?

It doesn't impact me personally. But anything that raises the profile of the school which in turns brings lottery picks and 5 star running back visits sounds good to me.

I've always said Missouri was equally deserving of Kansas for a BCS berth in 2007. Kansas had the better brand and was more coveted. It's all about dollars guys.

I'm not holding my breath. But it's nice to see blue-chips visiting your campus multiple times in your secondary sport.

Polar opposite of Mizzou Basketball where apparently you can't pay players to come sign with you.
