Hey Carlota; will you regale me with another tale of this fantastical "River Card" again?

Arizona and Detroit could still be interested, but they'd want to do a physical, right? I'd say unless it's MIA, we're probably not getting a 2nd round pick this year meaning it's either next year or we're keeping him.

You have to move him at this point. Fisher was taken to be the LT of the future. Let the future begin now.
He said he would be a pro bowler at LT from day 1, so that should be the expectation; |

King...Not really. I said the BA trade talk was a smoke screen to create leverage. The trade didn't get made because Miami would not give the Chiefs what they wanted. They showed the desire to move up with Oakland and decided to go with Jordan. The Chiefs wanted a lot in return and Miami didn't feel it was worth #1.
The BA deal was dead on arrival. Even Jay Glazer reported as much today. Somewhere in this thread I said the pick would be Fisher or Jordan. Poke me all you want. I can't control a trade getting done.

Wasn't it posted somewhere that the Albert trade to Miami negotiations would resume tomorrow?
How thick is this smoke? |

I heard on 810 yesterday a.m. that if the BA deal didn't go through before the draft we would go with Fisher because of his athletic versatility and he would play RT initially but if it did go through before the draft we would have taken Joekel. Your thoughts ?
