The much-discussed potential trade of Branden Albert from the Chiefs to the Dolphins doesn’t appear likely at the price Albert is currently seeking.

Although the Chiefs and Dolphins can probably agree on compensation — the Dolphins sending a second-round pick to Kansas City — the hangup is that Albert wants the kind of money that the Dolphins aren’t willing to spend. Specifically, according to Jason Cole of Yahoo! Sports, Albert wants between $8 million and $9 million a year on a long-term deal.

In other words, Albert is looking for the same kind of contract that left tackle Jake Long got from the Rams — the very contract the Dolphins wouldn’t give Long, which is why he left Miami for St. Louis.

If the Dolphins weren’t willing to pay Long that kind of money, it’s hard to see why they’d be willing to give up a second-round draft pick for the privilege of paying Albert that kind of money. So the Dolphins may need to look elsewhere for a left tackle. And Albert may have to settle for playing this season for the Chiefs, making $9.8 million, and hitting free agency next year.

I'll say this, if I'm drafting someone to be my QBOTF, I'd want them to have an attitude of, even though I'm embarrassed, I'm coming back, and I'll show them that I'm still excited to get drafted no matter where it is.

Especially if he was being advised by someone not to participate in the Senior Bowl and that he was a 1st round lock.

This is exactly what happened. He was playing "not to lose" instead of "to win" from the get go. Well - he lost rounf 1, BUT he's still going to get to be an NFL QB. Don't carry on like an immature kid - accept it, show some poise and be your best.

Being mad isn't bad, but showing it on the national stage is bad. He has to show that he has the manhood to deal with adversity and not be a crybaby. Cry and pout and throw shit in private. Smile, even thought its ****ing hard, in front of the cameras. He's still on the job interview and the promos for tonight on NFLN arent doing him any favors. And he handed it to them on a silver platter.

That was a huge red flag to all the teams right there when he thought he was in the Luck/RGIII realm without the body of work to back it up to assume he could afford NOT TO COMPETE. Instead it showed immaturity,self first,lack of honest self assessment and most of all too afraid to compete.

I would have said to my agent, "Look, I need to prove myself and stand head and shoulders above the rest to show I am not afraid to compete, because the scouts are not impressed by this year's QB class and I don't have the body of work behind me that puts me in the RGIII/Luck level. I need to prove I am a 1st rd consideration". But he did just the opposite. EJ Manuel competed and did the best and look what happened !!!

Yep ! He needs to learn Aaron Rodgers/Alex Smith type class BUT unfortunately it is very difficult to change this immaturity character flaw in your adult years. I predict you will still see Cam continue to unravel as well.
