Off Season Lets Talk Guns
Been a while since we had a guns n' ammo discussion.
Some of you are AR shooters Im sure. Im looking at a Colt 6920. Will be my first AR. Picked up a Glock this fall and really enjoy shooting it. Any feedback on that weapon? Anyone else been in a buy/sell/trade mood with hardware? Part 2: http://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showthread.php?t=293623 Last edited by Bearcat; 07-28-2015 at 06:06 PM.. |

If cleaned properly, will the corrosive ammo devalue the gun any? |

I prefer the corrosive milsurp ammo because its cheaper. And its already sealed up for long term storage. |

I've found that the gas block and muzzle brake are harder to clean than anything else, especially the brake. |

He went home thinking those rednecks in Kansas shoot at targets and think they're having fun. Seriously, I'm sure you both had a good time. Last edited by Fairplay; 06-29-2013 at 07:23 PM.. |

A trick my dad learned in the Army in WWII. Use hot water and mix in 3 or 4 tablespoons of baking soda and let it soak for a little while. Don't know that it does any good but it can't hurt.
