They are trying to speed the game up without effecting the strategy too much. That's why they are painting the outside corner of the plate with ideas, rather than throwing strikes like what you mentioned. Limiting pitching changes, mound visits, a pitch clock, these types of things would mess with the game TOO much, so they won't be done. No matter how effective it would be speeding the game up.

By the way, how good has Danny Salazar been so far? 21 K's in 13 innings over 2 starts. Are you ****ing kidding me? He's not a kid that's going to throw much more than 6 or maybe 7 innings, as he can get wild at times, but he has electric stuff when he is on.

This should be a great match-up with Ace tonight.

Need a full, non-problematic outing out of Yordano tonight. I will not be viewing as I have tickets to go to the Cardinals game with my buddy tonight.
