Ok? What does that have to do with the context of the argument?

From a fan's perspective, the Pro Bowl is nothing more than a popularity contest.
The fact that a player makes a Pro Bowl doesn't mean jack in the big picture of things.

I'm trying to figure our what your point is here.
He was trying to equate going to the PB with being elite. I said that the PB doesn't have shit to do with being elite.

The fact that Matt ****ing Cassel can call himself a Pro Bowl Quarterback says everything you need to know about what a joke the Pro Bowl is.

Don't for one second fool yourself into believing that it's meaningless, or that agents don't hire minimum wage workers to vote for their players. |

This has NOTHING to do with what we're talking about.

If you trade Albert and his $10M, does that open up some cash to go sign one of the remaining RT's on the market (Tyson Clabo)? And let's say you draft Kevin Minter with the acquired 2nd round pick to go along with Joeckel/Fisher. You've now traded a good LT and in "return", you've added starters at three positions. A lot of "ifs" there, but just throwing out possible flip side to the quoted statement. |
