I think it's because President Roslin is currently a..."guest" on a Basestar that jumped away from the fleet.

He was fantastic last season, and I can't wait to see what they do with him now.

I loved the Tori/Roslin scene and Natalie's address to the quorum. Never frak with Laura Roslin. Never.

Like Lee said in the mini..."The lady's in charge".

How the hell did I forget about Roslin being on the Base Ship (or is it Base Star)? Dumbass award of the day goes right here.

I'll share it with you. After all, I forgot about Gaeta being Baltar's toady on New Caprica. It's "Basestar".

I think that ties with "Jesus Christ is not a weapon" from LOST as best line of the week.

Just watched one of my favorite other roles for Mary McDonnel last night..."Sneakers".

That's a terrific little movie, often overlooked.

I don't watch Lost because I don't want to jump into the story at this point. I started watching the first season, then my schedule got screwy, and just lost touch with that show. I need to go get it on DVD. Same with Heroes.

Another line of thought about Gaeta - He WAS the one helping with the resistance of New Caprica, so many the hybrid's prophecy isn't about him with the "hungering for redemption" stuff. The suffering certainly fits the bill, though. There's a FEW different characters that could be "hungering for redemption" at this point.

I was waiting for Gaeta to whip out a Snickers bar and burst into a rousing rendition of "Greensleeves".

I still can't believe that somehow the whole "Anders shot Gaeta" thing has been swept under the rug. Someone obviously floated the story that a cylon shot him (as Tigh exclaimed), but even if the gun went off accidentally, there would still be some questions asked.

Maybe the producers thought that focusing on the mutiny and the shooting would bog down the episode, or maybe we'll see more in a few weeks.

My personal favorite was Tyrol and Tigh's back and forth:

Tyrol: "At least we'll know who the 5th cylon is."

Tigh: "Just means the airlock will be a little more crowded..."

Rare bsg humor this week. Dark of course...

More 'Battlestar Galactica' TV movies to come?

There's big news on the "Battlestar Galactica" front.

There will be another set of Webisodes that will link the first 10 episodes of Season 4 and the second half of the fourth and finale season.

Even bigger news: More "Battlestar Galactica" TV movies may get made.

As Galactica Sitrep noted Thursday, an internet radio show, The Doctor and Mrs. Who, reported last night that up to three “Battlestar Galactica” TV movies may get made later this year. Several sources at the show confirm that those films are indeed being discussed right now.

Executives are now doing number-crunching for these proposed films, and any deals for these movies are far from done. However, it would make sense to make more “Battlestar” TV movies while the show’s creative team and actors are still all in one place, as it were. (Pictured at left are cast members Jamie Bamber, Edward James Olmos and Katee Sackhoff.)

According to one source at the network, the talk about the films is just idle chatter “at this point.” But several other sources close to the show says there is good reason for “cautious optimism” about one to three future “Battlestar” films, which would get made this summer, if they get the green light.

At the end of the article I just posted, there's a blurb about a thread on the scifi board where people have noticed that they're altering the 'last supper' pic as the season goes on.

I love this show...

(There was a burning...something in front of Roslin in the original, now there's not, and the 6 at the middle has moved)

Thread here: http://forums.scifi.com/index.php?sh...c=2307515&st=0
