Seems like this deserves its own thread. The news will start coming fast over the next week or two, IMO. Recruiting is a 365-day event and we can't afford to be rudderless for long.

Painter has shown that he can do it at a mid-major, but he has also shown that he can do it in a BCS conference. Stevens may wind up being one of the all-time greats, but he hasn't yet shown that he can do it over time after turning over a roster.

I would take either in a heartbeat, but I would go for Painter if I had my choice.

This is BIG, IMO. Hopefully that's a sign that a deal is close. Of course, I'm a Mizzou fan living in KC, so we will probably hire Trey Hillman to coach the Tigers and Herm Edwards to be his assistant.

He never did...i made 1 comment to him, granted he couldn't take a joke or even respond. I'm sure there are plenty of dudes that say he sucks that he hasnt blocked. I am a fan of his success but this year he pissed me off to no end. I've already had a few ask for me, not like i plan to rip him, hell it was the first negative liek comment. I've said positive things to him at times he did shitty
