Small sample size, but through 139 MLB games he has an OPS of .832 and OPS+ of 122. Strike out rates have too high, but hardly a turd. He is the perfect 4th outfielder when healthy (can play all three positions).

Health wise...maybe, but this isn't a Bo Hart situation.

The injury history could actually turn out to be a bonus. The dude age wise is smack dab in the middle of his prime making $500,000 a year and not eligible for free agency until 2022 or right when he would start to decline. It's like playing with house money.

Will he ever stay healthy enough to contribute a full year? Who knows, but tools wise he is a great fit as a 4th outfielder as a floor. I don't get the hate.

One other thing from Atlanta - after the Saturday game, we took a wrong turn leaving the club area and ended up near the Cards locker room. We tried to walk past it, which is apparently a no-no. A security guard started to give us some grief, but when I told him "dude, we're just trying to leave," he calmed down and pointed us toward an elevator bank.

When the elevator door opened Dan McLaughlin got off right in front of us. He's a big dude. Didn't see anybody else that I recognized.

The problem is even the young rebuilding teams have shown some talent. They could beat up on each other all season.

Yanks have been our best friends lately. They abused the shit out of the Cubs over the weekend. Beat them in an 18 inning game last night to complete a three game sweep. The Cubs then had to travel to Denver. Brutal.
