He's talking about what happened last year as his reason for supporting Alex even though he's here. He's not talking about the struggles that Kaep is having right now.

I'm not going to explain strawman, I'm sure you already know what it means or have looked it up.

Adopting a 2nd team. Yeah, that's showing loyalty to your original team.

Holy Christ. Are you guys 12 years old?

Or are you one of these douchebags who like different cities in different sports?

You made a claim that you would "never do such and such" I gave you an example where you likely would.

My point is that you can't live in a world of absolutes..well you can, but I refuse to do so.

WTF should you care? This has been explained 100x over while you were Alex-hating on the other KC site. So what, now all the sudden, you are important enough to reiterate this? I think not. Talk about the topic at hand or GFY.

9ers don't pay me to be loyal. It's not a freaking girlfriend or a wife. I can like however many teams as I want. There's a lot of people that don't even have a team. So what is different?

I also remember a time when players usually retired on the team they started with...they became iconic for that team. While the salary cap era has really destroyed that part of football, I still feel the same way about some players.

I find it strange that you would not understand this considering how many people became KC fans when Montana moved to the Chiefs. Sure Alex is not the GOAT, but it is the same concept.

Only fair weather pussies adopt "2nd" teams in a sport.

Old school, but that's what my dad ingrained in me.

The other KC site?

Care to elaborate, or are you just talking out of your ass again?

I don't post anywhere else.

And you might want to start showing a little bit of respect and pay your dues before you start mouthing off. You may think I'm not important around here, but I'm positive you're not.

****ing noobs. I guess you take a shit on the floor of guest's houses in real life as well? **** off, troll.

I'm out for a while.

Try not to adopt a third team while I'm gone, kiddos.

Must have drove him nuts when Montana came over then...

I lost my sense of absolute loyalty to a team when it moved to another location. I no longer have illusions about a team caring about me as a fan more than my checkbook. With that said, I've been a fan of the 9ers since the 80s and remained one through the decade of shit we just went through.

This is the first time I've really been into another team...and I don't feel even a little bit guilty about it.

That's even worse. You were just some brain-washed lil kid that had no choice in the matter. Daddy says GO and you jump like the spineless chump. Well done.

Don't know about you, but I wasn't perusing message boards in 1993. Don't think my dad was either.

Teams moving/players moving is a weak excuse.

Hmmm. When I pulled it up before (nfl.com), it only went down to something like 16, and it had him no. 12. Weird.

You shouldn't feel guilty. I'm no Alex Smith fan apologist, but if someone told me i couldn't like more than 1 team, I would tell them to go **** themselves in the ass with a splintered fence post. That's just me though. I've been a Chiefs fan for 30 years. There's been a few teams I like, but only one team i love.
