I don't know when they crossed the point of no return, but at some point their egos got so invested in the development and success of Alex Smith, there was no turning back on him. If they turned on him now, they would have mental breakdowns or develop split personality or something, like a Hitchcock movie. Their own mental health is now on the line if they can't convince themselves Alex is a success.

Funny thing... back on the 49er board I could not spell Hitchcock. It would appear Hitch****.
Oh, I thought you were talking about your obsession with Kaepernick.

They say that older is wiser. Apparently that folk tale completely passed you by. Im not obsessed with Alex Smith. Im enjoying the journey he is on. Sorry that frustrates you. Its cute how you talk about others not being able to let go. And yet, you joined this board for the pure sake of mocking the Chiefs for getting alex smith. Even for a while your signature was something along the lines of

Thanks Chiefs for all the picks, Signed Trent Baalke.

You are one hypocritical piece of work. You always talk about my inability to stay on the same page. Dude, I don't even think half the time, you are in the same book.

I get it. I can see how someone as simple and myopic as yourself cant comprehend how someone could really like a player, yet, say they have flaws.

Chiefs fans have seen it. When alex messes up in games, im yelling at him. I don't hide from the fact that he has flaws. Guess what? EVERY QB DOES. Every qb makes a MISTAKE. Peyton Manning is one of the greatest qbs of all time, but, guess what, he lost a super bowl, he lost in the playoffs last year on just an awful AWFUL play. Throwing back across his body, something that you are taught not to do in pop warner.

it happens. Please, feel free to stay on your soap box, mister kaepernick fan, alex smith hater who cant say off the Chiefs board......

Emphasis "supposedly". You've never seen me write I hate Alex Smith in any post anywhere. Because I have never hated Alex Smith.

America loves an underdog and I pulled for him as long as I thought there was a chance he could be the 49ers franchise QB. By 2009 I realized he was just drafted way too high and was never going to succeed Steve Young in any way, shape or form as a 49ers franchise QB. It just got worse in 2010. By then, I realized he didn't have what it takes to soar in the NFL.

The Alex lovers here scream that I hate Alex Smith. That accusation is aimed at anybody and everybody who criticizes Alex, no matter how valid the criticism. They have called people here Alex haters who simply were raising valid criticisms of Alex's play.

I don't hate Smith and I wish him all the success in the world. He is a genuine nice guy and nice guys usually finish last. It would be fulfilling to see a nice guy finish first for once. But I'm not an Alex fan because he is on an AFC team I don't care about.

Yep, the 49ers are my team and I could not care less about the Chiefs after we get your #2 conditional pick for going 8 wins this year.

I came here initially to offer my take on what you were getting in Alex Smith. Many said he was a bust and a bum and Cassel 2.0, and I posted frequently with both his strengths and weaknesses, saying he was mobile, smart, had great football IQ, great pre-snap reads, great efficiency, superb ball security, and was a master of the short passing game.

I also said he was risk averse, would not throw into a window, would not throw receivers open, would not throw in the vicinity of open receivers who were covered to where an INT was improbable but not impossible. I said he could not throw to his left or throw accurately on the run, felt phantom pressure, didn't see the entire field, didn't see the open receivers.

For a while now you guys know what you have in Alex Smith and most here know that Alex is no more Cassel II than he is the master that the Alex fanbois here promote him to be.

Other than that, you can suck my dick if you are going to tell me what board I can stay on or leave. The Admin and mods can. You can't say jack shit about it.

And you weren't called stupid for your prediction - you and your "friends" were called stupid because you barged into someone else's house uninvited, took a giant shit on the floor, then decided you were going to stick around telling people who built this place that the shit you took doesn't stink.

This used to be the best place on the internet to talk football. Noobs knew their ****ing place.

I told you specifically a while ago, you are confusing WONT, AND CANT, WITH DOESNT HAVE TO. Alex Smith is rarely in positions where he has to take unnecessary risks.

Way to feed that already negative connotation that has been associated with 49er fans. Bravo.....You win the idiot of the year award.

The 49ers board is insanely more peaceful and harmonious since Snoopy was banned. No, since Alex was traded and most of those guys left for here, as well as talk of Alex was prohibited from the 49ers only forum. Alex talk is still welcome in the NFL forum, but nobody is allowed to hijack 49ers game threads or QB or offense threads to just make them Alex threads.

We still argue like cats and dogs, but it is normal arguing, not the poisonous cesspool of rancid sewage that took over when these guys were able to hijack every thread about rushing or coaching or kicking and make it into an Alex Smith love fest that quickly degenerated into juvenile trolling.

Member bans and closed threads went down by a factor of 10 after Alex's official trade.

These guys are your problem now. Sorry to say, I wouldn't wish that on anybody. If you think it is bad now, wait unless or until the Chiefs lose a couple in a row and the Alexcuses really come hot and heavy. These guys are being mellow while the team is racking up wins. If you guys face some adversity, you will find these Alex lovers to be insufferable. I mean literally insufferable.

Never mind. You will eventually see it first hand.

Again. You showing more of the ineptitude of yourself.

I don't think that people here treat me like shit. What I think is that know it all, but really don't know shit types such as yourself that always speaks with a tone of ABSOLUTE, is always more fun to verbally spar with. The fact that it takes all of your buddies to prop you up, so that you have to talk about how much "rep" you are receiving, shows me even more how much you really understand what is going on.

Shit on your floor? No dumbass. Shitting on your floor, would be coming in here and saying from the get go, "HAHAHAHAHAHA you guys go ****ed, we just took two premium draft picks for trash that we would or released anyways."

That's shitting on your floor. If anything, the pro alex 49er fans that came here with nothing but good intentions, regardless of what kind of FREE RUNNING WILD BOARD THIS IS, (which is great by the way) would be the clean up crew if you will. We have tried to clean up the SHIT that reeruns like Kaepernick have spewed all over.

Now, as to your SCRUBBING. That's fine. Go with that. Think you know what I did, or didn't do. Its always cute when you know you have someone so frustrated and beaten, that they have to go OFF topic and "out of their lane" if you will to try to take back the upper hand.

Go ahead. Have the upper hand. You haven't ever been that bright to begin with. hell, the other day I repped you because of something funny you said in the GTA thread, and your reeruned ass got all butt hurt, because I didn't quote the correct post.

You definitely show your intelligence every time you post. Hell, even when someone is just trying to be polite.

I can think of twice: that play, and the throw to Duck Dynasty.

The other times are Avery picking up YAC.

He is bad on third down.

Just a little context into how batshit insane the person who posts under Kaepernick is. Here is what he posted on the 49er board.

He's completing 53% on 3rd down, and we're converting 32% as a team - good for 27th in the league.

here is the funny thing though. Who do you think the first time you were put on Global ignore, guess who the guy who went to TG and asked her to take you off?

THAT WAS ME. Im not some dick head who just loves to talk shit. Welllll, that's not entirely true, I do, but still, I don't really give a shit. At the end of the day, I get off here, go hang out with my beautiful wife, and son, and you go get on your knees and start blowing your kaepernick blow up doll.

I have nothing to be envious of you at all..

The guy I was told was holding the team back, and supported through thick and thin. 3-0.

Your lover, 1-2, and its all his fault.

Please, put the post I found so hilarious about the Chiefs winning more games, and how you said "Maverick wonders why he has no credibility." under it.

Tell me again about my credibility???

3 weeks into the season. Brand new tight ends, rookie right tackle, new receiver, new system, new coaching staff.
