I've heard an unconfirmed report (a co-worker's girlfriend called him) that there was a bomb at the finish line of the Boston Marathon, with people injured. I am hearing multiple sirens, though I'm not in the Copley area.

Why would they have the bombs at the end of the race... 4 hours into the race... at the end of the race? IMO, whoever sick **** did this, didn't want a lot of body count. They wanted media coverage.

Well they are finding multiple explosive devices that did not detonate. And this was the time when people were actually crossing the finish line. So I don't think not wanting a body count, is accurate.

From what I heard, this is the heavier part of the day, when thousands of amateur runners are coming across the finish line. Also, the second bomb went off further back on the route...which to me indicates that they wanted to get people who were running away from the first bomb.
