Cool. Why not? Both were most likely going to be cut anyway. It makes sense to possible help both players and both teams since they compliment each others style of play better. If it doesn't work oh well. Nothing ventured nothing gained. But if these guys don't show something in the next couple of weeks with their new teams they will most likely be out of the league.

After what I've been reading about Jenkins, it seems that he might be a good fit in a victor Cruz type role ( as someone suggested earlier, not sure who) and not so much outside

But Alex Smith does NOT make ANY wide receivers BETTER.

He makes them WORSE.

I can name a number of WRs that have gotten better while playing with Alex. Now does that mean that he made them better? No...but they certainly didn't get worse.
