Story of the game: This 2nd-half shot chart from KSU. Baseline circles are layups: This is how much losing Embiid's mere presence matters. |

I'm confident Traylor can give us good games if Embiid needs time off or a limited role. |

Parade in Aggieville tomorrow morning. The rest of the K-State season has been canceled. This was their national championship.

Cats shared the conference title last season, I'd say it's safe to say they're playing for more than just the one game. But whatever makes you feel better....

I think we may also see Wiggins in the post quite a bit more without Embiid. He's capable of it.

Props to K-state. Huge program win at home. Gutty and tough.
Shockingly, when the top nba pick is hurting, you struggle. Good loss, actually. First OT game and we will grow from this. |

Yep, Embiid was so hurt he allowed a scrub to drive past him. That's when you knew something was really wrong.

He needs some time to heal. Fortunately the next two games are against TCU and Texas Tech, so his presence shouldn't be missed as much.

Good for KSU. It was obviously a monumental win for their program.
KU did not bring half the energy that KSU did. They earned the win. On to the next game.
