Honestly, when they play up to their ability, I think they are arguably the 2nd best team in the conference.

4 vs 5 isn't that big of a difference and if we take care of business in the next three, I think a 5 is the worst they get....of course I picked Mizzou tonight too, WTF do I know. I'll just enjoy the win tonight and hope they take care of ISU on Saturday

We kicked the shit out of the 5/12 upset last year. Plus, Frank's never lost in the 1st round. I'm not too worried about it.

But I can't believe we're talking about seeding. 2 weeks ago, we were a bubble team. Feels damn good. Keep it up, Cats.

As well they should be.

OK, so three out side the top 50, but Texas at 58 ain't that big a deal. Especially since we split with them.

The bubble talk was just talking head stuff. They weren't ever outside the tournament. In fact, I think they could have lost all three of the KU/BU/MU games and still made it in.

Hell, this past Saturday morning we were a bubble team, but I certainly agree with the bolded part.

Quite possible, if for no other reason than the entertainment Martin brings.

I would tend to agree, but if we had lost all 3 of the KU/BU/MU, then won out (which is what I was expecting), we'd likely have been a bubble team IMO depending on what happened in KC.

Although I don't think there's any way we're out now, even if we **** up the last 3 & Big 12 Tourney.

Good point. All the close games this year are wearing on my time management skills.... Or something...

Between Henriquez, Samuels & Gipson, I've been really happy with the way our bigs have played in the last 3 games or so. Not sure what Frank said/did, but it seems to be working. Team's coming together at the right time. Love it.

See, this is one of the reasons why Frank Martin is my 2nd favorite coach in the B12. Always helping out KU late in the season.

Hell, I thought Diaz looked pretty good in the first half of the UT game. I was expecting to see him get some minutes in these past couple games. Hopefully he plays a good amount these next three, as I think he would be an asset come tourney time if he deserves to be on the court.

Next season, with two extra bigs, plus JO, Gipson, and Diaz, and we can roll deep down low.
