Jayice pearson, Albert, Lewis, Derron Cherry, Dino Hackett, Kevin Ross.
Those were the days. And then Derrick from Alabama came on the scene. |

Chiefs site's stats haven't been updated after 2004 season. But as of end of 2003, here's some stuff on Carlos:
Years played for KC: 1980-1989 He was a 5th round pick in 1980. Years with 1,000+ yards: 3 years (that's best in KC history) Had a streak of 44 straight games catching at least 1 pass from 1981-1985. Had 80 catches in 1983, best year for a wide out, only Tony G has had more in a single year. And he's in the top five of total yards receiving in a career for the Chiefs with 6360 yards. I think Henry Marshall was a 3rd rounder in 1976 and Anthony Hancock was a first round pick (in like 1982?) at receiver, have to go back and check the draft records. If they got Carlos in the 5th round, that's a damn good pick. I'm not sure where they picked Stephone Paige, but he was a free agent walk-on, like Derron Cherry, I think. Who the Fock was Carlos Carson?
Probably better than any WR we have now. Yep, I remeber his name being called on the radio all the time, back when there was no satellite and the Chiefs were never on tv in northern Iowa but I would spend sunday in my dads car in the garage listening to the games on radio.
