My criticism is that Trey isn't doing anything to spark the offense. You've got a 2-1 count and a decent contact hitter up there, with pretty good speed at first. Why not start Alex and see what happens? You make infielders move on the pitch and you increase your chances to find a hole.

On the flip side, the Yankees show their superior offensive skills with a veteran like Damon grounding a ball to the right side to bring Jeter to 3rd. It's so basic.

Our rotation outside of Meche, Greinke, and Davies is f'n awful with or without Hochevar.

Last year Davies improved his ERA by over 2.5 runs over his 2007 ERA. Improvement happens.

Bloomquist's second awful play in the field of the game. I thought we are supposed to like this guy because he lacks talent but hussles and makes up for it in the field. From what I have seen thus far(granted probably two games) he does not belong on an MLB roster. OK, maybe the 25th man on the roster.
