At this point I'm so disgusted I would fold up the FA tent and keep the cash and take a WR in the first and then try and swoop in like Dorsey did at the end of pre-season last year. Make the most of the draft and try and find somebody to return kicks. I just don't see a difference maker out there.

Bottom line is this. Either Dorsey, Wiesen**** or Sanders is a liar. My money would be on Wiesen****. Sanders probably never actually spoke to our guys so when he is on record about the situation technically he is not being dishonest. But I have a feeling he's full of shit.

Why Dorsey has not used his James Jones connection is crazy. Jones can flat out play.

Its starting to become easy to second guess Dorsey I'll admit, but when it comes to a direct knowledge scenario of a guy who presumably wouldn't cost much?... I'd probably be willing to defer sanction until I knew more. We aren't talking about a bona fide Packer star, just a decent guy... I WANT upgrades, but taking a jab at every swinging dick just to do it isn't what I want, either. |

I really think the best course of action is to give a prove-it contract to Morgan coming off that ACL and draft one at 1.23 or even a few picks back if we are fortunate enough to find a trade-down partner.

I think the big difference is that in year's past, we used free agency to find our long term starters. These guys would come in as stopgaps. They're definitely improvements over what we had and will give us time to find good young talent to replace them.

Any of them would be better than bringing back JAG Hall or IR Williams.
