Spidery is stronger, faster, more acrobatic, more agile, has faster reaction time, the spider sense, and the webs- which according to the movies have tensile strength proportional to the cables that hold up bridges. If Spider-Man were pissed off, it wouldn't even be a close fight, IMO. While we're on the subject though, what I find weird is how Wolverine is always portrayed. If you go by Wolverine Origins (which is one of my fave comics by the way), he was born sometime in the 1800s. He's been a member of Canadian black ops, fought in wars, spent time as a samurai, and survived the Weapon X program. The dudes had, like, 80 years of intense combat training and yet he's never mentioned as one of the best hand-to-hand combatants in the Marvel Universe. They always rank guys like Captain America and Black Panther and shit ahead of him. On top of it all, he's always written as this mindless, berserker brawler. I mean, I understand they want to highlight his healing factor and show what a tank he is, but I've just always felt like it was doing his character a disservice. |

I just finished up reading the Annihilation and Annihilation: Conquest series and they were damn good. The two series serve as a nice backstory for a lot of the Guardians of the Galaxy characters (Starlord, Rocket Raccon, Drax, Gamora, Quasar, Adam Warlock, Moondragon, Groot, Ronan the Accuser, etc). It also has some of the biggest villains in Marvel in them - Annihilus, Galactus, Ultron and Thanos.

Wolvering has gone toe to toe with the Hulk on numerous occasions and other than World War Hulk has held his own.

How about you Swanman, dipped your toe into the Infinity storyline yet? I keep asking to see if it's worth getting into just on the name comics alone, or if I'm going to have to pick up all the offshoot storylines as well. DC did that with Blackest Night, and I found it annoying. |

In "Future Imperfect" the Hulk killed about every hero worth mentioning...
But yeah, Wolverine is a killer...

I really didn't like how it ended (kind of a cheat) but it was good. I liked the Inferno and AOA events better...

I'm a sucker for these cosmic encompassing stories. That all started with Secret Wars all those years ago. The comics Swanman was talking about sound good to me, as well. |

Haven't read any of Infinity yet but I'm digging Battle of the Atom. Recently I've been buying up a bunch of the omnibuses for stuff I read as a kid (X-Cutioners Song, Fatal Attractions, AoA, Knightfall, etc.) I still have all the original comics bagged and boarded, just don't want to spill beer on them or something

I think all the stuff on this list is necessary, but I'm not sure how it would read if you just did Infinity 1-6. There are several tie-ins not on this list, you can safely skip those. |

Pretty badass how batman is in this...an older and like you said zero ****s given batman. I was surprised it got a pg13 rating. Under the Red Hood is another good one and Year one isn't bad either as for as animated flicks. The comic and this movie were great. |
