I thought we cut Matt cassel?

Alex cassel?

This game is getting embarrassing. Any other NFL offense would be up by 21 pts at least with all these turnovers...

God damn this thread is full of whining bitches.

Dude didn't turn the ball over. we won on the round by double digit points. Late in the game he had some clutch throws to extend drives that sealed the game.

He's never going to be BRees or Rodgers but JFC you guys are ****ing assholes.

Okay, let's compare him to 2010 Cassel.

After 3 games 2010 Cassel was 42 of 77 (55%) for 494 yards (6.4 YPA) 4 TD's, 3 INT's.

After 3 games Smith is 64 of 105 (61%) 669 yards (6.4 YPA) 4 TD's 0 INT's.

Also, if you have a brain and watch them you can see an enormous difference.

Again, Smith is flawed but anyone who thinks he's the same as Cassel doesn't know dick about football.

I agree, but we also need to kill the Trent Green comparisons as well. Alice is somewhere in the mddle of those two.

Awfully dishonest way to compare the two...

How about over 15 games, Cassel averaged 17.4/30 for 1.8 TDs & .46 INTs

Through 3 games, Myth is 21/35 for 1.3 TDs & 0 INTs

The only thing he has is Cassels happy feet, other than that not much in common. He does do the Jekyll and Hyde thing but always plays his best in crunch time. That is definitely a positive.

What a ****ing idiot. Alex Smith is not Matt Cassel. You guys need to realize how foolish you all look.
The Chiefs are winning and the QB is doing a good job. Too bad you can't enjoy that.
We are winning, just not throwing the ball down field repeatedly. That is not the WCO and we will not be featuring that kind of attack.

Alex Smith was the #1 overall draft pick by the 49ers...in the '05 draft.

this is like his 8th or 9th season.

The OP should have thread starting privelidges revoked for a month.

Only an asshole would bitch about 3-0 at this point.

Sure. Let's talk again in December.

Awfully dishonest way to look at a QB. Through 3 games, Smith is 3-0 in his first year with the team under a new regime playing 2 of those games on the road. It's okay to look at the bright side.
