Ya, it didnt sound like a horrible running play by Jacobs, he was in a tough situation. Shallow fly to center, looks catchable. If he makes a highlight catch, Jacobs didnt want to be doubled off, and we'd be screaming at him for that. Since it was shallow, if he doesnt make the catch he could get thrown out at second with his lack of speed.

Yeah, it wasn't as bad as we were making it out to be. Just a frustrating play.

Fans in general need to watch more games from the 80's from the so called "greats" Frank White made throwing ears, Willie wilson got thrown out at 3rd with no outs George brett forgot how many outs there are. Shit just happens. It's a long game, players are there 8 hours a day getting stretched out, watching video, going over charts,

The problem is that our base running has been pretty consistently shit this season. Our third base coach in particular doesn't seem to have good instincts.
