I'm calling out myself ...

That's right. It's time I faced the ugly truth.

I'm disgusted that, for over 25 years, I've supported a team that can't win a playoff game, let alone make it to the SB.

And, I'm utterly embarrassed that I actually read Mr. Iowanian's posts about how he climbed a tree and that I hardly ever participate in Mr. RainMan's polls about who prefers green beans over ford transmissions.

And, what's with the limerics? What kind of self-respecting person would write poems pointing out the extraordinary and remarkably diminutive nature of Taco John's sex organ? Or, post thanksgiving stories featuring villians named "Stuffing Monster" and "Sweet Potato Pie"?

I've finally had it and resign to either modify my BB behaviour or ban myself from the Planet for good.

When I got on this board, more than 5 years ago, a thread had to stay on the front page for 3 days on average to reach the 100 post milestone. It is easier to do today with all the new members (n00bs). And I have found that the folks that worry most about 100 post threads are those that have the least of them. Just yesterday I had to point that out in a thread that included worriers JSP and Zach. Well, JSP has 7 and Zach has 17. Compared to my 75. I'm going to go check yours and I'll bet you are waaay down the list as well. I'll get back to you on this after I count yours.

Phobia and Stevieray have truly "trophy wives" that put yours to shame.

I watched my first Chiefs game on January 15, 1967. It was my 8th birthday.

Forty years for me, and that's a FAX jack.

I am, truly, a maroon.

The first time I planted my ass in Arrowhead, Lenny and the Chiefs beat Joe and the Jets for KC's only home win of the season. I too am hopeless.

What year was that? I may have been there as well. It was Joe's last visit to Arrowhead.
