Okay so I can set up a private No Limit Hold Em tournament at www.pokerroom.com
This will be for real money. Just a lousy $5.00 buy into the tournament and .50 cents to the house.

I can schedule it up to 30 days in advance.
I can make it for whatever amount that we want.

I usually play on partypoker (Annihilus1), but this sounds like fun if enough folks show up.

I think it would be more fun to have each BB run their own tourney, then top 5 from both sites sit down and play fer brag'n rights...

That's a great idea, but compared to ChiefsPlanet....we've only got like 5 members (all moderators) so that might not work out too well since only a couple of us play poker.

OK, recommendations for depositing money into a pokerroom.com account? Can't use a credit card directly, and I'm not giving anyone my bank account number and I don't want to wait to mail a check. Thoughts?

I use Firepay.com Most poker players on the net use NetTeller.com.

You deposit money into an account you set up through Firepay or Netteller. They charge you $3.00-$4.00 to deposit money into system. You then transfer the money from Firepay/Neteller to pokerroom.com.

Pretty much the same thing as paypal but poker sites don't take paypal.

Crap. All my cards are blocked at neteller.

On the flipside, I've gotten 2 phone calls within 20 minutes of setting up an account by customer service. Weird.

They have to call you. It's part of the security. I appreciated it. Someone gets your card they usually don't get your home phome number too. Just another layer of security.

I use firepay. Easier to use anyway.
