"Instant Gratification?" Whatever, you scheissekopf. I've been following this team since H. Roe Bartle helped bring them to town. Maybe you are satisfied with a playoff win every 10+ years, and a SB every 40. Some of us have higher expectations.

Instant, as I said in another thread, there are kids in middle school who were born after the last Chiefs playoff victory.

Some of us have been following them since 1963 when they played their first game in KC.

The difference being is that many of us know that football is just a game and not every team gets to play in the SB.

If you can't have winners you all seem to become whiners. IT'S A ****ING GAME!!!

Soon the tears and bitching will no longer be necessary.

Peterson is in his last contract with KC. Period.

Done.

The question is who do we want to replace him?...

So why the hell do you care enough to waste time discussing just a ****ing game on a forum dedicated to a team just playing a ****ing game?

I like the game, but I understand that it is a game and that it does not have an impact on my life. Besides, where else can you see people obsessed with things they have absolutely no control over?

Carl is the best there is. Look at what he has done this off season.
Got rid of some bad players and signed the Q. The Q, the only Denver running back to never have made it. I can't believe this may be LJ's back up. YOu think LJ is bad at blocking, you can't believe how bad Q tip is.
but wait, I digress........... Carl is magnificent

Carl Peterson incompetent? I don't think so. He's markedly better than the bad GMs of the league.

IMO, his tenure as Chiefs GM is comparable to Vermeil and Schottenheimer's tenures as head coach. Good, but never great. Problem being, unlike Vermeil and Marty, Peterson hasn't been replaced after almost two decades of "good, not great".

He's not a terrible GM. But he's clearly been unable to take numerous teams to the next level. It's time to move on.

Carl Peterson has ruined this team, and we will never recapture the past glory of the Kansas City Chiefs...

Do you realize the Chiefs HAD NEVER EVEN LOST A GAME BEFORE 1960!?!?!?!?

And then that damn Peterson came along....
