Right now our top $ player is 3-33 on the season. I was never for keeping hm anyway. I would of cut Sweeney before Dye and made a real run at Beltran.

Well what other teams just have players fall in their laps? Baird didn't want to pay Kenny Rogers. Baird didn't want to pay Dye. Baird didn't want to pay Damon, Beltran, White Instead we get Sweeney, Juan Gone, Benito Pass Me The Needle, Joe Mays Baird has 2 long term goods going in DeJesus and Mcdougal. Everyone else is weak or old or both. |

No way we would've been able to keep Dye and Beltran, as well as Damon, they wouldn't have signed here again.....Dye might've if out of any of them.

Mays is on fire. Konerko and Dye down on strikes. Sign him long term.

Ok maybe so. But Dye we could of kept. We could of gone after Bartolo Cologn...not the best but an upgrade none the less. I was for trading Damon for some good pitching. DeJesus is just as good defensivley and probably with the bat. Just not as fast on the bases. |
