We have a longstanding policy here that if you're not contributing to the football board at all, you're not a productive member.

I just ran a cross-section of your posts, and you've talked less football in the last few months than ClearVision.

You yourself said you're just not passionate about football anymore. A quick glance at your posts suggest that if you're that narrowly focused on human interest stories and politics, there's better bulletin boards for you to frequent.

And before anyone comes running in screaming about how unfair this is, it's happened before. We've banned multiple people under this very same premise.

Truthfully, in the short term this is going to suck for everyone. That hard-headed bitch won't just leave, she's going to drop her stupidity into the Lounge more frequently. Let me make this PERFECTLY clear.

Denise is not being singled out for her political VIEWS.

NOBODY will be singled out for the quantity or quality of their posts in the DC subforum. The DC subforum was created SPECIFICALLY for that purpose.

The "warning" issued to Denise was based on the content of the posts she's made in the LOUNGE.

That's the ticket. Make people post on the football board so they can get called names by the experts because they don't know what they're talking about, thereby, lowering the level of debate on the football side. And at the same time, kick out those people who have worthwhile input on the DC side, also lowering the level of discourse in the DC forum.

Are we going to ban the jerk who made the comment about terrorists killing her kids? Any action against him? I don't care who you are, no one deserves that.

Have the mods looked into what Iowanian actually has said to her in the past that caused her to send him the private message? Does he have a long-standing history of sending inappropriate messages to her? I saw some of them -- are there others that cross the line? Will he be banned or punished for those?

Then that should have been the reason from the start. I didn't hear all of those girly men complaining because she doesn't post on enough football threads. I heard them singling her out because they don't like the way she 'stirs the pot' on the DC side.
