Last month, Rosenthal pointed out some stuff about the contract given last year to Chiefs quarterback Matt Cassel.

Bottom line? He might only have one more year to turn things around.

The less-than-stellar performance by Cassel last year gives even more reason to consider it

Cassel was victim of numerous dropped balls and a porous offensive line early on last season. That being said, nothing wrong with bringing on some serious competition to push him along.
