Sure, maybe I've never heard of a "pot brownie" but you can bet your ass this guy has.

The best from what I have heard is in the Netherlands.
They have little symbols on their stores that let you know if they make their food with THC or not.

Supposed to be the best.

In fact, isn't there a Cheech and Chong movie where they go to Amsterdam?

Anyway...

I saw them at Winn Dixie the other day, they're made by Betty Cracker, and instead of the Pillsbury Doughboy on the box, they've got a pic of Coolio.

Not that I ate a very potent pot brownie made with medicinal grade Marijuana Butter last night or anything, but if I had, I would have been baked out of my mind from 8pm until about 3:00 in the morning, with the high lasting until about 6 am total...

I made that mistake a couple of months ago...

Right before my kids softball game (and I'm the coach) they had some "brownies" at the shop and told me to try one... so having never had one and not believing it'd do anything. I take a small sized one... the size of a quarter. I was joking with them, telling them if they bring that shit up there again, I'm callin the cops for bunk ass shit. Then I left for the game....

I'm usually a VERY vocal coach when coaching the girls. Halfway through the game I'm out in the field (10 yo's), leaning on my knees WAITING for the game to be over. I had the worst cotton mouth syndrome ever. The 1.15 hour game seemed like it would never stop. I wasn't saying anything to the girls right next to me that the balls would go to. When I fed the machine, I didn't tell the girls to line up correctly if they were out of place, etc.

I usually give a speech to the girls after each and every game telling them about blah blah blah... it doesn't take talent to hussle, etc. I just told the girls good game and to have a good one.

I went home and tried laying it down on the couch... my older daughter decides it's the PERFECT opportunity to tell me how good she did at her game. It was so bad... she asked me why wasn't I reacting.

Before you high brow people starting talking about child labor laws, etc... I didn't know it'd have that type of effect and it was a do it now or never type of thing so I figured a qtr sized brownie wouldn't hurt. BOY WAS I WRONG!

GFY'S!

I went on Memorial Day Camping trip a couple years ago and one of my friends brought some brownies. Much like you I only ate a slightly larger than quarter size piece and it kicked my ass.

All the people there (as far as I know anyway) were not pot heads by a long a shot and almost all of them ate a regular sized brownie (3x3 inches) and about an hour later most of them went to bed but some of the girls started freaking out. Two of the girls kept asking me to take them to the hospital (yeah, I'm all over that) and when I replied "you're just stoned, drink lots of water and ride it out" she was trying to call 911 so we had to take her cell phone. She was screaming at the guy who brought them "I'm gonna sue you" - it turned out to be a real disaster for a couple hours.

Once everyone who was freaking out calmed down enough to go to bed Jeff and me were the only ones who survived and we were playing horse shoes and drinking beer, we had a good time. That's 2 out of about 18 who it didn't knock out.

I've also heard from a pretty smart guy that when you eat pot as opposed to smoking it that when your liver breaks it down it produces a chemical that it normally isn't absorbed if smoked which causes the more toxic and intense buzz. I can't confirm it but I do believe who told me.

I don't play with the stuff anymore but that was my one and only pot brownie experience. Proceed with caution to those who want to try.

Last time I did the brownies, I put 1 oz of pot into the mix (well, after melting it into butter and straining it). That completely kicked my ass. This time we used some medical butter, and only used what equated to a half oz. That made it much more fun.

I Don't **** around with edibles. Eat too much and you can get a killer headache. It's not the same kind of high as smoking. Much rather smoke it than eat it.
