Cassel is the QB for 2010...deal with it

I am not a Cassel fan. I could share some neg reps I got last year for bagging on him. But the fact is there comes a point where fans have to accept the reality for what it is. And that fact is, like it or not, he is the starting QB for us. While we can take some time to complain about that it doesn't change anything for this season. So might as well support the guy, like him or not because he is what we have. And I am not saying he doesn't deserve critcism when he plays badly. But the constant attacks on him really does nothing to change the fact that he is the guy this year.

I am not a Cassel fan, but I am a Chiefs fan and I want us to win. And that means rooting for Cassel to do good. Suck it up, fellas, it is football season and we have to dance with who we brought to the dance.

Kind of like bitching about people not rooting for cassel.

Classic chiefsplanet.

There are two things that would make me stop being a Chiefs fan
1) I die. but in death hope my kids put an on my tombstone.

2) Clark sells the team and it gets moved to LA.

Ok, got one more 3) Carl Peterson returns as GM... witch would make my 1) reason seem like a pretty good idea.

I'm going to root for my Chiefs regardless of who is playing. I will bitch against the players I don't think are good enough for making this a championship team. I have a right to change my mind if the player shows prommise of somethimg better in the future. I can change my mind eather way about a player at any time.

If the fans didn't start bitching about Herm and Carl they would still be here.
If we didn't bitch about LJ he wouldn't have gotten traded last year. Clark Hunt will listen to the fans becouse he wants to fill the stands. So to better the team we need to damand better from our GM & coaches.

Well, I am not bitching about people bitching. I am saying what good does it do at this point in time? The guy had a good line last game and several people just bitched about it. I am not a fan of Cassel but he is our QB, like it or not. So why tear him down at every turn? I wish Croyle could stay healthy and take the starting role, personally. But it ain't gonna happen, so might as well pull for the guy who is going to take the snaps for the season.

um, you just argued that telling the truth about shitheads is pointless because it 'doesn't change anything' (i.e. futile)

now you're telling me the same logic doesn't apply to your 'love players that suck' theory of true fandom.....

Uh, actually I never said any of that. You need to re-read the OP a little closer. If you want to spend the entire season bitching and griping about Cassel go ahead. I am sure at points he will deserve such.

I am not sure buddy... People bitched when Herm was hired and before he was hired. Any with a ****ing brain knew it was a disaster in the making... People bitched, They still brought in Herm to fix the defense and not touch the offense.

People bitched about hiring Pioli, they still hired him.

Carl will do what he wants, Yes it would be wise to listen to the fans from time to time. But if you want a successful franchise. Listening to a bunch of message board fans will be a sure fire way to kill your franchise with fire...

um, you wrote this

"Cause when the season is ready to start then bitching about something that isn't going to change is pretty futile, isn't it?"

i realize this is complex....but

if 'bitching' about something that 'isn't going to change' is 'futile'

then clapping like a reerun 'about something that isn't going to change' is 'futile' as well....

you can't claim one is preferrable after identifying them both as meaningless gestures...
