Soo...what will you do if there's a lockout in '11?
Latest reports are nothing has changed....
http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=5652700 I can't imagine not having football on Sundays. I remember the baseball strike, and it killed any interest I had in baseball. |

They need to lower ticket prices and such, CBA aside.. I hope something like that comes out of this, doubt it will though.

Actually, I'm going in on a half-season ticket package for UNO hockey.... 10 games for $180, and it's good D-I hockey against RIT, Denver, Wisconsin, Bemidji State, etc.... for the price of 2 Chiefs tickets. Tickets to 10 games + $5 parking + gas for the 10 games will be less than what I spend on 4 Chiefs tickets + parking in one season.

I'm sure McD will miss the pregame road head.

How do you think the addition of Kenny Powers will effect the team?

if there is a lockout, then it would MOST CERTAINLY be the year that the Chiefs would have won the Superbowl.
With the lockout in baseball in 1994, the Royals would have made the playoffs... and could have done some damage... but NOOOOoooo. So, I assume it would happen to the Chiefs, as well. |

Guys, there WILL NOT be a lockout.
Period. Teams all around the league have voted to de-certify the union. The last time that happened was in the late 80's and the NFL and the players didn't have a new CBA for nearly 5 years. If the union de-certifies, the NFL would lose their Anti-Trust exemption and by locking out the players, would be subject to a HUGE court battle. What will most likely happen is that the union de-certifies and the season is played under terms of the current CBA (including no salary cap). The union and owners can then take their sweet time in ratifying a new contract. There's no way the NFL shuts down. |

If there's no salary cap, frankly I'd prefer a lockout. I'd rather have no football at all than see the Chiefs turn into the Royals.
