Richardson doesn't seem to be the sharpest tool in the shed. Kiffin probably sold him on the Hollywood scene. Mizzou will be fine without him.

The Hollywood scene has absolutely NOTHING to do with 19 and 20 year old football players. If he was sold on any "scene", it was Manhattan Beach, were a large contingent of USC students live and "play". |

Well we know he wasn't sold on good defense and bowl games.

I'm surprised he was able to get into college at all.. Don't you have to have a minimum grade/score to get into college?

OU's point guard Tommy Mason-Griffin did the same thing last year. Lot of talent but not enough to be 1 and done.. Stopped going to class in the spring and declared for the draft, only to not be drafted at all... |

Honestly I'm surprisingly not that upset with his decommit (although I think the odds are decent that he recommits to Mizzou....he's a total headcase). Football isn't like basketball where one recruit can make or break a season.
And if SR is going into D1 football with the idea that he will play only one year and bolt to the NFL, he could wind up being a huge problem if he doesn't start immediately, we lose a couple games, he gets hurt, etc. I definitely don't wish him luck though. I think it's BS when kids back out of solid commitments at the very end. |
