MU Got My MU-KU Tix Today - Page 4

There was a story in the paper today that pre-sale for Jackson County residents was today at 10am at the Stadium or Ticket Master. Went to a Ticket Master out here in Lenexa by where I work. I live in Independence, so I took a Jackson County Tax receipt and my drivers license and had no problems. Got 8 seats about 15 rows up around the 10 yardline. So it's ON...bring on the beakers!

BTW: Ticketmaster is a real racket. They made about $80 on me just on the transaction. How come there's no competition for ticket services? Oh well, bring on Thanksgiving weekend!

That's only because Kansas took more players, Missouri had a smaller class. Missouri's average star rating was higher. Missouri will have a top 25 recruiting class this year, Kansas will be lucky to have a top 75 class.

Check the NFL draft. Check the schools that the #1 QB and #1 WR in the country are considering and the #3 guard has already committed. Those schools matter.

You might also check with the Jaguars or the 49ers who both drafted Tigers with top 10 draft picks.

Amazing how those two led MU to the awesome Insight Bowl loss. Don't get me wrong, that's much better than nothing and everyone knows that better than nothing means "relevant."

People flock to their TV screens when MU plays just like when Texas, Oklahoma or Nebraska play!

KU is a rebuilding program. I'm not hoping for much this year, but I do expect some improvement this season and next. The real question is whether any Big T North team will vie for the league championship - the simple answer is No. I do expect Mizzou to beat KU this year in football.

According to Scout, KU has #40, Mizzou is tied for #52. Not that it will affect anything this year of next.
