The 9/11 Doom and Gloom celebration puts a bad MOJO on the Chiefs every time.

I Hate this holliday.

I am obviously being misunderstood here. I am meaning no disrespect to the people that died. Just the dog and pony show and how it seems (to me)
to affect the chiefs. It sucks how things can be taken out of context when in text.

Sorry, but those deaths were a decade ago and this game was today. So many people have died in other ways over the past 10 years, yet we stay fixated on this one event. It's time to move on.

This game meant much more to me than any 9/11 since 2001

Thousands died in such a horrible fashion. People on fire jumping out of buildings, innocent victims who picked the wrong flight on the wrong day. Firefighters getting cancer from breathing in toxic gasses from the cleanup. Troops that risked their lives for the sake of fighting the war on terror.
I'm unbelievably fortunate I didn't know any victims or troops who died as a result of the chain reaction of events. But you should be sensitive to the fact that there are probably hundreds of people on this board who did.

So I understand you were trying to be facetious. But don't be defensive about what was said. It was a mistake to say it. Let's move on from that.
