Ok, so there is an 800 sq mile section of land in between Egypt and Sudan that is unclaimed by either nation. I say we put together a plan to form a permanent settlement there. Once established, we will have the ability to petition for statehood... I am thinking the Empire of ChiefsPlanetstan sounds pretty good.

(btw, this is the only land on Earth outside of Antarctica that is unclaimed)

yeah, only problem is that the well it references has long since gone dry... and I think the average rainfall is around 2 inches a year. Water may be an issue.
