Could this team be 0-5?
I'm betting the Bills are gonna be pretty angry and ready to play on Sunday in their opener. They know they sucked ass on the road and have to keep up with the Pats, plus they are already down in the division.
We all know that we suck ass on the road, so it wouldn't surprise me to see us start out well, then fall apart.

Saints are gonna wax us too. No way this defense stops Brees and his receivers.

Chargers are the best chance for a win because their OL sucks and they can't get much pressure on the QB. Oh and they don't have that brokedick RB or their touted WR from San Diego State. But they do have one thing we don't...a franchise QB.

And I'm not even gonna discuss the Ravens. We might as well not show up for that game.

A majority of the Planet said that they expected us to get beat by the Falcons. We did. But prior to Sunday, the common sentiment was that we'd be better once Hali and Flowers came back. But of course, no one knows how to actually take an objective view at things around here and freaks out. If we beat the Bills next week, people will be talking playoffs again - count on it.

I did. I said to my Bronco-fan FIL that I wasn't sure if I even wanted to watch the game because I figured their offense would completely torch our defense. Go figure - it happened.

But even though I expected it to be bad, I still am not all doom and gloom on the season. That was one of the toughest teams we'll likely play, and we'll hopefully have our two best defensive players back.

Do you doubt my prediction that we'll have threads where people will be predicting 10-6 if we win next week?

They won't though. Too many individual playmakers. A few of our stars will put forth heroic performances that will offset the overall lack of consistent team play, giving us a win somewhere in the stretch.

It's how this team has avoided being horrible the last few years. Beat bad teams and steal a few wins off of individual star performance.
