By the time I come up with something snarky & sarcastic the thread will have disappeared so I guess I need to be up front.

After our new house was built the 1st thing I did was climb the roof & mount my new RCA dish so I could get Sunday Ticket. Quite comical mounting it. I was using a brick phone from work talking to my wife in house who relayed the #s' to me so I could adjust dish. I've been getting ST ever since so I could watch my beloved Chiefs, paying full price each year. This was 1997.

I have enough Chiefs hooded sweatshirts, hats & clothes to be able to change everyday for a week. Every Monday after a Mackovic, Ganz or Germ loss I'd wear my gear. Bad with the good, right?
Every birthday or Christmas there was something Chiefs themed wrapped up waiting to put a smile on my face.

I'm positive I don't hold a candle compared to other fans/fandom. This is just my small attraction from a redneck who calls western Kansas home that currently resides in Washington state.

There was a game during Germ's tenure that was played @ what I'd consider high school level. Not a dig towards HS sports either I might add. I had been on the edge for a while. I give up that day. No more recording games to watch again. My life wasn't over if I missed the live game. Not so much blaming the coaching staff either anymore either. The Hunt family needs to shit or get off the pot.
I'd be lying if I said I didn't care about what's gonna happen when the salary floor is implemented. LA Chiefs perhaps?? The last pro team from KC came to California.

I like it here cause for the most part it's not dominated by homer thinking. I go other places & am accused of not being a true Chiefs fan. HA, whatever...just keeping it real.

I don't really want to have another NFL team to adopt so I've jumped on the Pacific NW college football teams band wagons'. Sorta liking the Ducks since they got such cool uniforms.

Sorry Floppy, think I'm a little over 140 .




Last year I told my family & friends...NO MORE Chiefs stuff.
