Is there ANY chance that Quinn can become another Rich Gannon-like QB for KC?

He's a 1st round pick. He has to have talent. Maybe he's matured and learned how to be a starting QB while holding the clipboard? He has better mobility than Cassel. He has a much better arm than Cassel. I'll bet he has better accuracy than Cassel. He needs to have better decision making and leadership than Cassel, which won't take much. That's a pretty low bar. Can Quinn shock the world and become a worthy starter? We can wish, can't we? I think the odds are 1 in 765.... maybe 764.

I never wanted him when he first came here. I didn't believe in him in 2010. In my mind it's been 4 wasted years. So I'm clean on rejecting both Gannon and Cassel.

Seems that Crenel would be more logical person behind Quinn getting signed. Who knows what sort of pressure he's under from douche Pioli to tow the company/Cassel line.

If anyone remembers Gannon when he played for the Vikings or Redskins remembers that Gannon wasn't Gannon then either. He blew chunks. Hell Gannon couldn't beat out Wade Wilson, Tommy Kramer or Sean Salisbury when he was with the Vikings. He was only with the Redskins for a cup of coffee.
I suppose anything is possible for Quinn. He can't be any worse than Cassel. I hope.

My guess is Quinn's going to stink up the joint. People will be clamoring for Stanzi inside of a month. 'course he's not any good either, so a month after that we'll be wanting them to pick up somebody else off the wire.

The Chiefs played like their season was on the line Sunday.

Hoping we'll start to see some players quit now.

The players don't need to "quit" per se because the team sucks.

The last thing I'd want to happen is for a catastrophic injury to occur to a premiere player because he was loafing.

If Quinn's no better than Cassel, 2-14 is the record.

I think the writing's on the wall at One Arrowhead Drive. If they don't draft a QB with the 1st pick there could be another Benghazi incident.

Yeah... So here's what he's asking:
Will Quinn be the next Gannon?

Let's see here, so he's asking if there's a chance that Quinn will ride the bench for a while, then come in and show more talent than the starter.
(check)
Then he'll win a few games and show some talent.
Then the starter will come back from injury and suck balls.
Then the Chiefs will let him go via free agency to the raiders who will ride him all the way to the Super Bowl. **** Yea.
