"Expectations were too high?????" Tell that to the Colts...year 1 ater SUCKING ASS they LOSE Peyton Manning and other star players, get a new GM, HC and QB and they're KICKING ASS at 5-3!...It does NOT have to take this long if you don't SUCK AT YOUR JOB. Problem in KC is that at EVERY LEVEL, Pioli has people who have NEVER BEEN SUCCESSFUL in thier current positions - HC, OC, QB - have total fail in those areas and the norm is what's happening in KC.

... been thinking about this ... and it looks like my worst fears are now realized ... well not my very worst, that's being buried alive with spiders ... but football worst, I mean. I guess the Chiefs can't stop Pioli from speaking, but they don't need Lenny to provide him with a credible venue, do they?
I don't know what it would take for Clark to understand what is wrong with this team. Can the coaching be worse? Our drafts? Can we play more undisciplined football than this? Pioli has to be one of the highest paid excuse-makers in all of human history. His comments regarding Roleo are particularly troubling. It is obvious to anyone who understands the great game that Roleo is out of his league as a head coach. It is not the job he was born to perform ... it isn't his fault, it's just the way it is. However, for our GM to appear satisfied with Roleo's performance is insulting ... just as Clark's tacit approval of Pioli's job is. Surely Clark knows that Pioli is responsible ... he gave him the responsibility. All this makes be tend to believe something that I've never wanted to truly face up to ... that Clark honestly doesn't care about this franchise enough ... and that his concerns are, as many have said, limited to profitability and nothing else. These are sad, sad times. I, for one, am thoroughly disgusted that the team would give Pioli a public voice in order to defend his actions or somehow justify his decisions and downplay the unmitigated disaster that is the Kansas City Chiefs.
