What do you think of Colorado's new logo?

This just went up.

As a disclaimer, I was not involved in the research, and in fact no one knows right now who did the research, though they claim that it was extensive (despite the fact that I'm across the street from the Capitol and never heard about it). The only companies mentioned are marketing companies.

Didn't see one gun in that video. Apparently nobody goes to Colorado to hunt anymore.

At least, not the sort of people that video is aimed at.
...I hadn't even thought of the gun angle until you mentioned it.

I think you may be a little over-sensitive on that issue. It's not like hunting was the only activity the left out of the video. Hell, I didn't see any sporting events in the video, and I can assure you that the "liberals" here do not, for the most part, hate the Broncos.

Don't know if anyone has said this yet, but that totally looks like some sort of industrial sign warning against carbon poisoning.

Multiple thousands. Colo is beautiful, as is Cali, but it's run better.

California isn't all LA and San Francisco. There are outstanding small coastal towns that are just perfection.

I'm not slagging on Colorado. My wife is from there and I've been all over the non-rednecky parts of the state. It is definitely beautiful and I love some of the places there.

It's just that Colorado has nothing for me that I want and can't have here. And without the weather, beach, and stupid oxygen deprivation. (Yes, I'm a big sea-level breathing pussy). I understand moving to Colorado from innumerable other locations, but from California? I mean, if you live on the western side of the state, it makes zero sense to me to move.

In my opinion, this is a bland logo that was designed by committee. It's safe, conservative, and boring, which doesn't match the state's brand.

I think it would help a lot if they did something whimsical, like perhaps have a big pair of elk antlers coming out of the top of the mountain. Or a little skier swooshing down the mountain.

All good. I spent a summer internship in Malibu for grad school(Pepperdine), totally appreciate the beauty of Cali. But you are wrong to assume many don't want to escape the tax state.

Oxygen is overrated. You lowlanders are just used to having a bunch of it. You don't need that much, and it's wasteful to be sucking it all in.

You're right, of course. I mean, people move TO Iowa for crying out loud. It's not that people would move from CA to CO, but that apparently this is a big enough thing where there are bumper stickers about it?

Should they make it orange like the color of a road cone? Or does the KS turnpike have the trademark on that?
