Call your shot: what's the stat line/score?

Just for shits and giggles. I'm gonna say..

Alex Smith-2 TD's, 215 passing yards, 1 INT

Charles-160 all purpose yards, 1 rushing TD, 1 receiving TD

Fasano gets a TD and has a huge game.

Houston doesn't get a sack (I think they double him every time) but I think Tamba gets 2 and Poe gets 1.

Cowboys 24
Chiefs 27

I sadly predict the same.

The Chiefs will play better all game, but a non-dynamic offense will not allow them to put the Cowboys away.

The Cowboys will linger... and linger... and linger... The Chiefs D will keep them snapped down, but Romo will come through in a 2-minute drill and get the Cowboys a touchdown.

Cowboys 20.

Chiefs 17.

Yep the Cowboys are known for BIG comebacks lol The only thing that will linger is the pain our D will put on Romo.

Frankie Hammond Jr. scores 3 TD's -- after his last TD, he turns
to the camera and points "that last one went in your dumb ass, SNR"

My 2 and Half cents.

Home Field Advantage-Is Dallas an Elite team that can come into Arrowhead on Opening day and control the game by playing mistake free? No -Romo is usually good for a few turnovers, plus he is banged up. I don't see them taking the Home Field advantage away like the Chiefs did to the Jags. Advantage Chiefs. Crowd noise will be a factor for sure.

Are their Special teams better. No- besides the punt block- we have had the best unit in the NFL if you include preseason. Advantage Chiefs

Is their Offense healthy and can push around our D. No- they will make some plays, put up some yards, but will make mistakes as well. I am not convinced they will have an answer for Poe, Houston, DJ, Hali and Berry-Advantage Chiefs.

Can their D keep our Offense from putting up some points. No- Ware might have a good day, but I see us getting some big plays as well. Yes the second half of the Jags game turned Vanilla when they should have stomped on the gas pedal- but that won't happen this game-Advantage Chiefs

Coaching- Andy has far more expierence. I think the players love him over what has been here in the past. He treats them fair and has their respect. Advantage Chiefs.

Qb's- Roma had x rays this week but will play. Alex is healthy and has zero turnovers. Advantage Chiefs

Wr's- Dez has been hurt for the Cowboys, but will play, they get the slight edge becasue our TE Fassano can't seem to catch and they have an All Pro. Advantage Cowboys.

Rb's- Charles should play, even at 80%- still better than what they have. Advantage Chiefs.

Points off of turnovers. Chiefs 10 points from 3 turnovers and Dallas gets 3 points from one turnover.

I really think the cowboys come in and get a beat down. They are just not a team that can match up good against the Number 1 D in the NFL. They have proven in the past if you punch them in the mouth they will quit. They might get some junk yards and some points in the second half to make it look closer than what the game actually was, but the Chiefs dominate them.

It's a big game for Flowers and Sean Smith and they will test the KC safeties and ILB with Witten a ton as Romo is going to have to rely on quick hits in the short box to counter Sutton's aggressive front seven pressures.

If Johnson and the safeties can shut down Witten and the bump and run corners can effectively throw the Cowboys receivers off of their timing, the Chiefs should be able to control the field position and let the offense work. (I'd have Johnson shadow Witten all game long.)

I think you'll see a healthy dose of what Smith and Charles did against the Jaguars in the first half all game long, with an increased emphasis on getting Bowe the ball.

The Cowboys are still riding on reputation, but they are not the same team that they were even three years ago. Their offensive line is piece mealed and they've got no one outside of Ware that scares you defensively, though their corners are good, but with the Chiefs focusing on the short middle of the field with Bowe, Charles, McCluster, Fasano, Spencer, et al., it goes away from the Cowboys strengths and plays to the Chiefs.

Houston should absolutely manhandle Doug Free, as well as Poe/Jackson/DeVito eat the Cowboys interior line up like a soup dipped sammich.

In addition, the crowd at Arrowhead is going to be absolutely pumped. You can already feel it.

It's not really a good Cowboys team, Garrett is in over his head, Jerry Jones is turning into the later stages Al Davis and I think that they get dirt rolled.

I have a strangely good feeling about this game.

I think we crush 'em.

34-20, and not as close as that score indicates.

Picking us to lose in our Home Opener? I still have nightmares about the Buffalo blowout-lol but it just looks like we match up well against these guys. I am not impressed by their team at all. Jerry Jones saying its the Best team they have ever had. Really Jerry-lol?? I guess we will see what happens. I might have a Lot of crow to eat come monday for being a Homer-lol
