Easily the best Chiefs week we've had in a while.

Following a promising opening win, and going into our second game which is a home opener against a hated opponent.

Sounds like Arrowhead is going to be in prime condition.

The team is 100% pumped.

Our team is legitimately better, with the sole exception of the Cowboys vaunted passing offense.

This is going to be a very fun game, but I have loved the shit out of this week.

The Chiefs are not a Super Bowl team, but if they can put together an above-.500 season where they put the hurt on everybody they play... this will be a great year.

If only the fans of the team who was going to win the SB every year knew ahead of time so they could relax and enjoy the whole season while the other 31 could call it a waste of time and bitch incessantly.

You have a happy week... Rah rah rah-but you still predict the Chiefs to lose?? Sounds like you want to jump on the bandwagon with us but are still not sure-lol

Next week will be even better listening to people making excuses why the Cowboys got a beat down-lol

610 sports this morning as well. Basically says Romo has no heart and can't comeback when they get down. Overrated with no running game and holes all over their defensive and offensive lines.

They havn't seen the chiefs this hungry in years!!

The end result was a low 61.8% for him.. he did have a 4 or 5 drops though, but 61% isn't awful. Anyway, yes.. Kelce should be a very nice addition, since he can be quite the LB mismatch on some of Smith's favorite deeper throws. (seam and wheel routes)

hope Kelce can get his ass out there soon...

Didn't we also need "better receivers" during the high flying offense of the DV era? Sure, we had Tony G. But the receivers were nothing special. Eddie Kennison was a serviceable receiver, nothing more.

A great OL is without a doubt the foundation of a good offense. Mix that with a good RB and QB and you have the makings of a great offense. I'm not sold on smith being a long-term fix at the QB position. But this OL is probably the best and most complete that its been since 2003, when we had Roaf, Waters, Wiegmann, Shields, and Tait.

I'm still not sold on this team. I'm trying to keep my expectations low because we've all been burnt time and again by this team. I will say this, things are certainly looking up for this team. Talent is all over the place here.

I also like the Coaching staff far more than anything we've had since the DV era (ignoring outcasts like Greg Rebinson and Gunther Cunningham). I like what Bob Sutton has done with the Defensive talent. The offense still has a ways to go. I suspect they will get better as a unit the more they play together and the more the offense opens up.

If Trent Green had Dwayne Bowe they'd have put up 20+ TD's every year.

If there is one thing I have learned from this team the last few years, it is not expect too much as I have been disappointed too many times. Ive always seen the great overall talent that this team has, well since 2010, and this year looks promising but I wont get my hopes up yet. This team has so much to prove.

Exactly my thoughts. They need to show up CONSISTENTLY and play well. If they can prove themselves over the course of 5-6 weeks, I'll be a lot more optimistic for this team than I have been for quite some time. They just need to prove it to us.

Bowe would be the #1 WR on the pats, seahawks, and 49ers...

we paid him, I hope we actually plan on using him
