So, a buddy of mine from college may take over as GM of a strip club in Austin and he wants me to help him revamp the concept and get the place up to snuff with technology and social media. BUT he's not sure how to sell the owner on the idea so he suggested I could work with him as a "manager" and just take a laptop to the club and hammer out stuff for the club then and also continue working with my various "real" clients. I explained that I have ZERO experience being a "manager" at a strip club or any other service industry environment for that matter. He countered by explaining that the managers don't do anything. Mostly there "just in case" and for end of shift stuff.
Needless to say, I'm not certain I could work effectively in that "distracting" of an environment so I sadly will probably turn him down. How's that for something that doesn't make sense! |
