@McShay13: Ore State's Cooks (4.33) and Pitt State's John Brown (4.34) ran only sub-4.4 40-yard dashes for WRs. Five WRs with sub-4.4's last yr

@McShay13: 12 guys with sub-4.4 unofficial 40 times but only two with "official" sub-4.4 40 times. Little bit of a difference!

I see our WR coach and RB coach running the drills so does that give us any advantage in scouting the players?

Of course that all hinges on the evaluation ability of those position coaches, which may or may not be a strength.

Today I was pretty impressed with Odell Beckham, Mike Evans, Cooks. McCarron looked pretty good all things considered. Bortles looked pretty good. John Brown of Pitt State, Jerick McKinnon looked ridiculous.
I was unimpressed with a few guys. A few runningbacks that just don't do anything for me, and my #1 underrated guy is David Fluellen of Toledo. Only ran a 4.7, but it's his vision and smooth running that makes him look like a possible NFL back. Tajh Boyd is manure. I really don't see him ever doing anything in the NFL other than being a lifetime back up. L'Damian Washington looked alright, but made a couple bonehead moves, and ran a good time. Kelvin Benjamin was faster than I thought. I really only expected 4.65 at best. Those are the main guys that stood out anyways aside from the obvious, Dri Archer, or Watkins. |

I would love, ****ing love us drafting John Brown. He's blazing fast but small, however if you're wanting someone to replace McCluster he's the guy.

I just got annoyed by the pricks bitching about the combine thread. My first thought was, I wish I could tell the starter of the nutshots thread that there was a forum for that. But, instead, I just open it up, click ignore thread, and move on. And I will continue to do so since obviously the other forum is not getting any support.

I'd like to see us pick up Jeremiah George. I know I know "homer". But he led the Big12 in tackles, led Iowa State in basically every defensive statistic, and would be a mid-late round flyer pick. Nice ILB prospect.
