What's the Odometer Reading on your Daily Driver?

The apricot BMW just turned over 97,000 miles this weekend, which isn't bad for a 14 year-old car. It still looks pristine other than a couple of door dings and a mysterious dimple on top of the trunk.

What's your vehicle got, and how many miles can a vehicle have before you start thinking about selling it?

166k on my daily driver. It's worth so little at this point it's not worth selling. I'll just drive it back and forth to work until it dies.

16k on my fun car.

06 Sierra half ton. 127,000.

Bought it with a Salvage title.

It's had all but 45,000 of those 127,000 have been beaten down county roads or no roads at all.

It has no value. We are together until I kill it.

99 Dodge Dakota with 133K on it, and I plan on driving it until the last wheel falls off of it.

Also have an 02 Grand Cherokee that has 151k on it, and it's in far better shape than my truck, but I only drive it 2-3 times a week and I don't use it for work.

Just past the 250,001 mark a month or so ago. I'm shopping for cars, knowing soon I will need one. As of now it keeps on truckin' and when it got checked up the mechanic found a few problems with it but nothing too major. Got some of it fixed but trying to see what I can/should do to it without spending too much. Don't want to spend alot of money, have the car blow up and then not have that money for a new car. Kind of in car purgatory right now.

2000 Silverado 190K and change. Only normal maintenance so fa, though I am likely going to have to replace the motor in the drivers side window before long, it's sluggish.

Both of those are dead in my car as well. Front driver side if you were wondering.

The didn't even charge me for the alternator, power steering pump, air conditioning condenser, cruise control, starter, every fuse, relay and a bucket of every kind of bolt, nut, screw and plastic connector. I have enough parts to keep the car running another 200,000.

The car cost me $400 at 180,000 miles. Interior is still perfect, body is good and I drive it every day. When I changed the engine I knocked all the internals out of the catalytic converter and my gas mileage went from 26mpg to 30mpg, while still passing emissions every year. It isn't fast, but it goes and goes.
Those Proteges are pretty damn good. unless you wreck them they will just keep going.
